Your iPhone is no longer safe from the Crowntakers

If you prefer for your iPhone RPGs to be all roguelike, Kalypso Media has some good news for you this morning. Crowntakers—the company’s turn-based RPG that was previously only available on iPad, will be coming to iPhone in early January of 2017.

Crowntakers takes players into a medieval fantasy world full of challenging encounters and epic adventures. And in classic roguelike fashion, the game features a randomly generated world to offer a varied gaming experience every time you set out to fight evil. Of course, you won’t be doing so on your own.

As a hero on a mission, you’ll have to assemble a group of brave mercenaries to take on cruel enemies like barbarians, ferocious animals or deceitful thieves. Embark on challenging quests, gather vital resources and finally banish evil from the world.

Those who already have the iPad version will be pleased to learn the iPhone Crowntakers update will be available as a free download. New gamers can grab it as a standalone purchase from the App Store, where it’s currently available for $3.99 with IAPs. For more information, visit
