Armada of the Undead

The undead, twins and pinball coming to Apple TV

As a gamer and an Apple TV user, I’m excited to see what kind of titles come our way when the new Apple TV is released. I already use it to stream iPhone and iPad games to the TV, but it looks like the new system is going to completely change the experience.

Legendo will be amongst the first to have you accidentally swatting your siblings in the head with your Apple TV Remote, as the company announced three titles in development: Armada of the Undead, Dracula Twins, and Pure Pinball. The latter two are already available for iOS (as evidenced by our helpful use of hyperlinks), so you can check them out now to see what’s ahead much as you’ve already done with Crossy Road.

As for Armada of the Dead, it’s…

… a turn-based strategy game for 1-4 players featuring undead pirates in an fun and eerie Caribbean setting. Use your iOS device of choice (iPhone, iPad or iPod touch) as a second-screen controller as you and your friends set sail (f)right from the living room!

The artwork looks pretty good, too, kind of like the Monster High girls celebrating Día de Muertos.

is greatly looking forward to the day when he no longer cares about Apple, games, and gaming technology. But right now he does, and he loves to talk about them, just as he's been doing on the web since 1998. He can otherwise be spotted as that one guy in Ohio wearing a Minnesota North Stars hockey sweater. Kirk has a wife and three kids, and is a generally happy fellow.
