Mac gamers can play Candle this November

Are you the chosen one? Daedalic’s asking. No rush, but they’d like to know by November 11th when the puzzle adventure game Candle from Teku Studios is released for Mac, PC and Linux.

In Candle, players take on the role of Teku (is that first…a developer gaming a character after the company?), a young man who must rescue his tribe’s shaman from the vile Wakcha Clan. It’s possible Teku got this role because his left hand is candle, which has to mean something, right? Teku will use his special gift (or defect, depending upon how you see it) as a torch to fend off enemies or as a beacon to light dark places has works his way through a world spiked with traps and trials.

To enhance the puzzle-style gameplay, Candle features beautifully hand-drawn watercolor visuals; all backgrounds, characters and objects have been individually painted and scanned for the game.

In Candle, players will:

  • need to pay close attention to all details to solve the challenging puzzles,
  • tap into the power of the flame,
  • and enjoy a beautiful soundtrack with South American flair.

Candle will be available on digital platforms and as a boxed version in the German-speaking retail market, in Spain and in Italy. In addition, Steam users will have the option to purchase an Enthusiast Player Edition with exciting additional content.
