Have you looked at Moshi’s Bluetooth headphones for iPhone 7?

By now, it’s possible you have an iPhone 7 and the lack of a headphone jack is has beomce a nuisance. That won’t last…the loss of the serial port and optical drives were troublesome, too, but only temporarily.

Apple was kind to throw us a bone by way of the stereo mini jack adapter, but we all know that was just to shut everyone up until the make the more logical leap to Bluetooth headphones (I’ll be curious to see how long Apple includes that adapter with a new iPhone purchase…I give it a year). When you’re ready to make that leap, however, don’t jump directly over to Apple’s AirPods. Take a look around at what are likely going to be better options, and be sure to include Moshi.

One of our favorite designers of Apple accessories, Moshi is offering two Bluetooth headphone options for users of any Bluetooth enabled device: Mythro Air and Vortex Air. Both headphones support Bluetooth 4.1 and feature up to 8 hours of talk/music time, offer ambient noise isolation and will integrate with a custom app.

The Mythro Air features a custom DR8 neodymium driver in an aluminum housing for crisp sound and punchy bass, and will come in three colors: gray, silver and red.

Vortex Air uses a sintered steel housing with a custom HR8 neodymium driver for smooth highs and articulate bass with no distortion.

Both headphones have a Bluetooth range of 30 ft. and can pair with two devices simultaneously, so output to the headphones can switch at will.

Moshi will also be releasing a custom app to support Mythro Air and Vortex Air. The app will track the battery life on the headphones, feature EQ customization capabilities, and show the list of accessories that are currently paired with the app.

Additional features for both models include:

  • Bluetooth 4.1 support with a 30 ft. range
  • 3-button in-line remote control with microphone
  • Magnetic collar clip to keep headphones in place
  • Custom carrying case with convenient cable management

Mythro Air and Vortex Air will launch late October 2016 (well timed for those of us who didn’t get our iPhone preorders in quickly enough) and will be available on Moshi.com and at select retail locations.
