Disney Magic Kingdom opening soon to iOS gamers
If there’s one thing the world needs more of, it’s Disney trailers. Heaven knows there aren’t enough of the barely escapable things at the beginning of their Blu-rays, but this one’s a little different. It’s for the forthcoming Disney Magic Kingdom game from the good folks at Gameloft. They know their way around a game or two, and have done quite well with some pretty big IPs.
And so, let’s take a look at one of the biggest:
Hmm. I see no Maximillian or V.I.N.CENT., but one can always dream. Isn’t that what Disney teaches us?
As for what the game is bringing us:
Disney Magic Kingdoms allows players to enter the timeless world of Disney and relive magical moments from the Parks by building fun attractions like Mickey’s Fun Wheel, Astro Orbiters, and Monster’s Inc. Laugh Floor, and sharing spectacular moments with beloved Disney characters from Disney•Pixar’s Wall-E and Toy Story, Disney’s Tangled and more.
No word on pricing plans for the game yet, but if it works anything like the real Disney Theme Parks, they’ll charge more during peak playtime, gouge you for additional purchases once you’re playing, and sucker you into playing for three days straight.
If, unlike me, you’re not bitter with Disney for dropping Tron 3 the moment they sunk their evil claws into Star Wars, you can learn more at www.disney-magic-kingdoms.com, where you can also pre-register for unique rewards when the game releases.
