Banner Saga 2

There’s not a whole lot to say about Banner Saga 2 that we haven’t already said. I mean, that won’t stop us from posting our full review very soon, but there’s always our Banner Saga 2 preview in the meantime.

The good news for you, though, is you no longer have to rely on us to help you get pumped up for this sequel to Banner Saga. The game will unlock on Steam at 1pm EDT today, and you can save 10% off the $19.99 asking if you get your order in before then. A deluxe edition featuring the official soundtrack by Grammy nominated, two-time BAFTA winning composer Austin Wintory is also available for $24.99.

The Banner Saga 2 is available for SRP $19.99 through STEAM, Bundle Stars, Direct to Drive, GameFly, GameStop, GamersGate, Humble Store and UPlay.  A Deluxe Edition, which includes the official soundtrack by Grammy nominated, two-time BAFTA winning composer Austin Wintory, is also available for $24.99.

Of course, Banner Saga 2 picks up where The Banner Saga left off, and…

The choices you made in the first game will affect who is alive and who is dead in this exciting sequel. As the world continues to crumble around you, only one bastion of hope remains, but getting there will require strong leadership, hard sacrifices, influencing new heroes, and, as always, sound strategy in combat.

Also in Banner Saga 2:

  • Beautifully 2D hand drawn combat sequences and animations are further enhanced with special effects
  • You will continue your epic journey interacting with new characters and a new race, the Horseborn.
  • Improved, more strategic battle boards enhance combat and permanent loss of characters will still weigh heavy on your mind long after the battle is over.
  • Your role in building and managing your caravan as you travel the vast landscape is critical to not only your own survival but the survival of an entire civilization.
